PASSIVE CONSTRUCTION

Keen Builders recently embarked on our first passive house project. The project uses materials with very low embodied carbon to create a home that uses up to 90% less energy than a typical home. Attention to detail is crucial for a project like this. Buildings are responsible for a significant portion of the world's carbon emissions so building passive is a major way that we as builders can help mitigate future climate issues and create wonderful living spaces that are not only environmentally friendly, but also much healthier for those that inhabit them.
